War of the worlds

This project is inspired by Pier Paolo Pasolini´s last movie Salò, or the 120 Days of Sodom. To this day this is one of the most extraordinary movies ever made, its shocking, poetic, visceral and most importantly it holds up a mirror to our souls. Its a movie about human nature and how power corrupts within religion or politics. The human body plays a major role here and how it is there for the people in power to be used or destroyed. Just some days before the movie premiered Pier Paolo Pasolini was found dead on 2nd of November in 1975. He was clubbed and then run over with his own car. To this day it's unclear who the perpetrators were.

In Salò, or the 120 Days of Sodom, sex is nothing but an allegory of the commodification of bodies at the hands of power. I think that consumerism manipulates and violates bodies as much as Nazism did. My film represents this sinister coincidence between Nazism and consumerism.
